The third day was a free day! We got up without hurry, ate breakfast slowly and basically spent the day at the Louvre. XD XD XD
I ran out of batteries and memory so we bought some and another memory stick card.
Anyway, the sun came out that day, but the weather was cool and windy and everything that is nice ♥
We ate lunch at the Carousel, it was yummy, I shopped at L'Occitane and we bought souvenirs at Rue de Rivoli, which is the street we came in through the metro.
We went back to the hotel to rest a little, I mean, we did spend almost the entire day walking XD, then went to the mall and supermarket for some major shopping. I bought two perfumes and make-up at the little sephora there.
Incredible.
CNN actually captured a ghost sighting on camera and they didn't even notice until it aired!
Moreover, it was at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch!!!!
The video: at exactly 8:20 min. watch carefully the end of the hallway, you'll see a shadow/figure walking from left to right through it!
OOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since I don't have twitter I might as well write some in just one go here XD
- The Anna Sui 2009 fall-winter collection is great, I love it all.
- Why do people still use the word "surreal" so much? I hoped it was just one of those word-fads that come and go (like that time when everyone was a "Renascence" man/woman only because they did a few of things at the same time), but it really irks me when people use it for everything, I have the nonsensical feeling that every time someone missuses it the surrealist artists have seizures in their graves.
- Speaking of fashion and word usage, I was watching some fashion show after interviews, and there was some magazine editor and whatnot talking about what she thought of the show, she said it was surreal (yecch), and very Dancing with the Stars... what the hell, I could do a better job than that... she probably doesn't even know that what the do in DwtS is ballroom dancing... god. Which in term reminded me of a certain episode of absolutely fabulous where Patsy was having one of her moments trying to write notes from a fashion show, hilarious, and more so because it probably really is like that ("help me you bitch!" XD XD XD).
- I downloaded the Jeeves and Wooster soundtrack, it's awesome, the rar file had some bonus tracks ripped from the show like: forty seven ginger headed sailors (all the rage at Drones, and with Dog Macintosh as well) XD XD yes that's the name of that one track, anyway, I'm tempted to try and find the books sometime in the future.
- Speaking of which, bro said that HMV is like heaven, tons of movies on sale right now (he bought a lot as gifts for us, thank you bro!!!!!!!!!!!) in london, man... he also told me he spotted "the worst witch" dvd box set pretty cheap but forgot to go buy it, I could cry... oh well.
- Yesteday I put up a new curtain in my room, the one I had before literally desintegrated when put in the washer, anyway, the first one was very thin, this new one is rather thick, meaning my room is like a cave now XD XD XD but it's fine, the tropical sun is great and all, but all year round gets kind of boring and headache inducing.
- Also, I can't wait to watch tonight's (my time) VS arashi, I mean, gackt!?! it's gackt!!!!!! trice babe, it's potential food for "friends" I tell you!!!!!!!!!
- Oh, speaking of singers, in VH1 there was "the top ten all time female singers" on the other day and they showed whitney huston's How will I know, I was all "awwwwwwww" back in the day when she sang, and was normal, before the presence of bobby! hit her life XD XD XD
- Underwolrd rise of the lycans is available for download, but I don't know if I should, I mean, we actually buy vampire movies, specially when cool as the underworld series are (instead of pirated versions or dl I mean) so I'm pretty sure we're gonna buy it someday, but I really want to see it now... decisions decisions decisions LOL.
- Meanwhile, there's a mosquito here, and the bastard has bitten me everywhere, I'll get you mothaf~ I will.

caminaremos adelante mientras abrazamos nuestros recuerdos

no quiero tener remordimientos
Seguiré y brillaré mañana como el sol
La señal que cambia de rojo a verde
en el medio de un viaje sin retorno,
quiero seguir adelante creyendo en el mañana
Corre, corre, extiende los brazos hacia tus sueños
grita, grita, mientras tu voz siga,
de la manera en que tu corazón sienta
Mwahahaha!!! I'm back with more!

Maybe it's because I just got back from abroad, but the new "Everything" video is speaking to my very core right now, of holiday, of being happy, of looking at the future with optimism and good vibes.
Do I need to say it? Rules: feel free to use, no hotlinking, a little credit is always welcomed ♥
So here we are, new banners and a little one for all Ohchan lovers out there!
Second day, noon and rest of the day.
After Versailles the bus parks in the Carousel de Louvre, where we're supposed to get some food and shop a little, dad and I just walk around because it was filled with people and it was impossible to eat anything XD, I did call mum on the phone to wish her a happy birthday though.
Then we go on a "panoramic visit" of Paris, which is the bus driving us around to site-see. Which turned out to be great because it was raining a little LOL! The program: Arc de Triomph, Champs Elysees, La Madeleine, Place de la Concorde, The Opera, Louvre, St. Jacques Tower, The Minicipality, Isle de la Cité, Notre Dame, Quartier Latin, Pantheon, La Sorbonne, Luxembourg gardens, Les Invalides, Military School, Champ de Mars (where, due to the dense traffic and the fact that we're behind schedule we make a quick stop à la "japanese" as our tour guide said to take a pic of the Eiffel Tower, go-snap-go back to bus), and a view of the Seine and some bridges.
Pretty awesome.
Then we go back to the hotel and around 7:30 pm we go to Montmartre for a look-see, it's pretty beautiful and we get a good laugh riding along the Moulin Rouge street where all the sex shop are open for business XD XD. At Montmartre I get a little amelié taste watching the carrousel light up, but since the pavement was wet we all decide to go up with the funicular instead of walking the steps.
Up there we look around and we decide to go in one of those little quaint restaurants to eat our first proper meal, LOL! It was yummy!
Afterwards the bus leaves most of the people that paid to watch the Moulin Rouge show and the rest of us go back to the hotel, we got to see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night!!!
Arashi celebrates 10 years with best album, tour
Thu, June 25, 2009 (2:00am EDT)Arashi has announced the release of a new best album titled "All the BEST! 1999-2009." As the title indicates, the collection will cover their entire ten-year career, and will consist of the title tracks from all of their singles to date.Source: Sankei Sports
The tracklist begins with their 1999 debut "A-RA-SHI" and includes 31 songs (26 singles plus their double A-sides), plus an additional track written by Arashi to thank their fans. According to the listing on CDJapan, the two-disc album does not contain Satoshi Ohno's solo song "Kumori Nochi, Kaisei." In addition, it is reported that the first press edition of the album will come with a bonus CD containing 10 more songs selected by the members of Arashi.
Arashi has also scheduled an upcoming tour, which will include three consecutive shows at the National Stadium on August 28-30. Last year, Arashi became just the third artist to do a solo concert there (after SMAP and Dreams Come True). Now, they will be the first ever to play at the stadium for three straight days.
The tour, which finishes on January 17, 2010, will also include the five major domes in Japan. The group expects a total attendance of roughly 760,000 fans over the course of the tour.
RIP Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.
Visit to Versailles! We get on the bus and meet out tour guide and all that, then we're off. Versailles is now a town on its own near Paris, high brow, people with money live there, it's sort of the extension in time of what happened when the King established himself there for good and all the french nobility moved to live next to the Palace.
I wondered where exactly was the Osmotheque located, but since our visit was to the Palace I didn't get a chance to look around the town itself.
Anyway, color me impressed. Versailles is majestic, over the top and impressive!!
This is the chapel inside the Palace which is opened to the two floors. Bottom entrance and Top entrance:
Someone's chamber XD:
The King's chamber:
The Queen's chamber:
This is me in the Mirror room:
And a view from there out to the gardens, the king's "back yard":
This is the War Gallery, paintings of Napoleon in all his splendor hang on top, while they set up pictures of recent wars near the floor, in contrast to the paintings, it was interesting seeing real images against the stylized images:
Versailles viewed from the gardens:
And a view of the gardens outside, the extent of it all is lost to the naked eye:
This achievement is nothing new for EXILE - they also achieved the highest sales in the first half of 2008.
In individual album sales, Mr.Children's "SUPERMARKET FANTASY" ranked #1, as it was the only one to break a million. This is the group's third time leading first-half album sales, tying them with Yosui Inoue for the male artist record.
In individual singles, Arashi managed to capture both #1 and #2, which was last achieved by Hikaru Genji in 1988. "Believe / Kumori Nochi, Kaisei" led the way with 646,000 sold, followed by "Ashita no Kioku / Crazy Moon" with 556,000 sold.
Arashi also had the #1 DVD of 2009's first half, as "ARASHI AROUND ASIA 2008 in Tokyo" moved 355,000 copies. This is the first time that a music DVD has topped the rankings.
