I realized, I haven't said my "see you soon"s XD
Well, I'll be back fully online January of next year, but I'll check in with you all from time to time ^____^ (let's hope internet cafés in Chile still have reasonably cheap prices).
Meanwhile, I'm sorry I didn't write recaps of Supernatural -episodes 3 and 4-... they were so awesome I was left reeling and enjoying them so much it slipped my mind to write the recaps. Sorry.
I'm kinda nervous to do a japanese exam right before traveling... my mind is in packing, not the correct use of the "wo" particle, XD XD XD but I'll give it my best!. Gambarimashoo! Still, I'll have lots of time to study on my own in Chile, since I plan on bringing my books and cds with me XD.
I finished reading all the books I had planned on reading.
Finished Blaze of Memory (suri! LOL! I really thought that was gonna be the first one with a dead heroine, I got all exited since it would have been super dramatic... and then the kids showed up. XD XD XD man, what a surprise!)
And finished reading the Southern Vampire Series (Sookie Stackhouse books).
I LOVE THEM.
GO ERIC! Team Eric Northman all the way.
Dead and Gone: I still can't believe sookie fell for that clearly obvious trap of eric into marrying him. Bill redeemed himself in this book, IMHO, but I still think eric is the vamp for sookie. I'm kind of glad gran-dad Niall is gone though, the Stackhouses sure don't need any more trouble, but I have the sneaking suspicion there are fairies out there who didn't leave the human real and will be taking out their anger on sookie and jason, speaking of family, I wonder how little hunter is doing.
Now that I have to wait like everyone else for the next book (which will be out next year) I kinda want to check out HBO's True Blood. I wanna see what they changed from the books, and feel the overall atmosphere. From the clips I've seen in youtube it seems pretty dark and hot, and I can't stand all the teeny bopper pseudo-vampire stories out there right now. Gimme a good old scary and sexy vampire anytime, never cover them with teen angst and glitter. XD XD XD
Oh well.
See you soon you guys!

Including the loltastic title, this episode was a solid second one.
The road so far with background music: Long, Long Way from Home by Foreigner, man they sure lurve Foreigner...
Bobby is so pissed off, hasn't even spoken, looking vulnerable in his wheelchair, who wouldn't? this means he can't hunt anymore, and to be written off like this, especially in these critical times? I would be angry too.
Sam looks on him from the hospital room door frame, pity in his eyes, I would say he's even afraid to go inside because he doesn't really know how to deal with this.
Dean comes holding a brown envelope which contains some revealing x-rays, of his own thorax, bones filled with sigil symbols, "the doctors are baffled" LOL!.
But he doesn't go in either, poor boys have no tools when it comes to things like what bobby is going through, you can feel it in the air, such a "guy" thing... Sam's cellphone rings, it's castiel asking where they are (XD I feel weird, like I'm the only odd human being who actually doesn't use a cellphone... when even in pretend tv angels use them).
My feelings are voiced by dean when cass arrives "A cellphone? really?" he asks castiel, who in turn reminds him they can't be located by any angel.
Bobby shouts from inside for them all to stop whispering and come inside already, he angrily demands to castiel to fix his legs, but cass rebuts that he can't, working up in anger himself, he's mad too, because even though he's back, he's had to kill his fellow angels, he's been cast out from heaven, so he doesn't have the power to fix bobby (there's no winner in the blame game XD). When dean starts to give him attitude, cass reminds him for whom he's done all his done (♥♥♥♥ have I mentioned how much I love this couple? XD) so dean has no right to tell cass off. NO RIGHT.
He has a plan though, he knows lowly humans (and most angels) will never be able to defeat lucifer, so he'll go for the sure thing. He will find GOD.I killed two angels this week. My brothers. I'm hunted. I rebelled and I did it -- all of it -- for you. And you failed. You and your brother destroyed the world. And I lost everything -- for nothing. So keep your opinions to yourself...
Color me stunned.
Aside from the theological implications of such a thing, the lowly humans must think practically, and ask how the hell are they gonna find God. Cass tells them there's an amulet he can use, sort of a magnetic heavenly compass, that will point the right direction and burn hot in His presence, because he has the suspicion that God is not dead and is actually walking the earth again.
Great, an amulet, but where~? ahem, cass looks significantly at dean's chest...
XD
How friking convenient. Ok. This was... how should I say it? a cheap way for the writers to move things along, but whatever.
The friking amulet john winchester gave dean.
Cass puts dean in a guilt trip grinder until he reluctantly lends the amulet to cass, who disappears right after that.
Bobby's phone rings, cut to fellow hunter Rufus right in the line of fire, helping a young guy with his leg wound, and firing freely at the enemy, in a town that's ridden with demons. He needs help, fast. The line begins to break, but he manages to give bobby the location, some small town in colorado.
The boys are off.
River cross (how apropos), colorado. The boys walk into town (since it's been isolated on all planes), with Spirit In the Sky by Norman Greenbaum as background, and the town looks like a war zone. But no soul in sight. Adrenaline pumping they check car after car until a gun pumps behind them.
It's fellow hunter Ellen, who sprays holly water on dean just to check right after he tells her it's them and not some demons. XD She doesn't water on sam though which I found interesting and got my answer after she guides them to the hide out, she slaps dean and complains passionately to him why she had to find out he was alive from rufus and not himself, he could have at least called! Dean apologizes and gives sam a what the hell look while sam looks all don't ask me and they both follow ellen with the quintessential who can understand women male look. LOL!
A small group of survivors are hiding out with ellen, still shocked with what's happened in town. Slowly the town has been invaded with demons and they have been killing ever since.
Sam and dean go out for supplies, together since dean can't seem to want sam alone. Sam tells dean to trust him and act like professionals, so while dean is off looking for Jo (who came into town with her mother but got separated) sam goes to the market to get salt. While he's there, two demon possessed teenagers come inside, one of them goes to get water and his back is right in front of sam, who goes for his gun, but the noise tips off the demon, so they fight.
Sam reaches for ruby's knife and stabs the guy, while the other one comes hearing the noises and attacks. Sam out-maneuvers him and drives the knife inside the guy's head clean through.
Blood spills out on the floor, all red and shiny and luscious... and sam has a moment.
But is cut off by the light that comes from outside just as dean goes in looking for him. They see each other... but don't say a word.
Back at hide-out camp, ellen decides to go looking for Jo herself, and dean and sam discuss and bicker about who'll go along with her, ellen sees the friction and wonders what's going on with them (man, that would be a looooong story to tell XD). Sam goes with her and while walking outside they see some chimney smoke coming out of a house, sam thinks about that, since he knows demons "don't get cold" but is cut short after a demon possessed rufus and jo attack them... but something is off, they seem to think sam and ellen are possessed too... weird.
Sam gets captured and ellen runs back to the hide-out.
While tied to a chair inside the house, inside a demon exorcism circle, sam wakes up to find rufus and jo pour salt inside his mouth and drench him with holly water. What? what? they leave surprised that the exorcism didn't work and while sam tries to make any sense of the situation a guy walks in, this guy was in the hide-out, and he's laughing and acting like he's all that.
Revelation time, he tells sam he's War, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. He's waiting for his brothers to show up and is having a little fun in the meantime. Sam puts two and two together and realizes what's wrong... it's all illusion, there's really no demons in town, they are all killing each other off being played like puppets under the strings of War (and more specifically, his magical ring LOL!). War talks with sam about his lust for blood, his lust for power, and tells him to not be so high and mighty, since they have so many things in common, which floors sam.
Ellen comes back to tell dean sam was captured by rufus and jo, but she suspects there's somethign wrong, since jo acted like ellen was the possessed one and not vice versa. Dean starts to think on how this all started, thinking about how rufus came into town in the first place, he was following a lead of some omens and some polluted water it seemed. Dean asks the father (who is one of the hiding survivors) and an ex-military guy if anything out of the ordinary, aside from the obvious, has been going on, and they tell him of a shooting star that appeared at the same time the river got dirty.
Sam goes to read a bible... and finds the passage he thought of, revealing that it's all heralds for the coming of War. The father is stunned. This means~ it's the apocalypse? the real apocalypse? Dean says Yes.
And right when he's about to move, War comes in, like a wounded victim, telling how there's nothing but demons out there, he turns on ellen and dean, moves his magic ring, and makes the survivors believe they're demons too!
Dean and ellen run out to join the people out there and go to the house where sam is.
Rufus is rigging a window with explosives and jo worries about her mother being the one to walk through that window, possessed or not, rufus feels for her but there's no other choice.
The window suddenly explodes!!!
The go check it out, and jo finds herself fighting mum again while dean tackles on rufus!
They all fight, but dean manages to somehow make rufus hear the truth, there's no demons! just when rufus gives the benefit of a doubt to it the spell breaks and he sees. Like jo and ellen. Dean goes to free sam while the rest of the townspeople, tired of hiding, decide to go out and make a final run for it, only to find other townspeople ready to kill them off.
Gun fighting ensues.
A kid shoots the father, ellen goes to help, and the ex-military guy tackles her and is about to stick a knife in her throat when...
War is walking to his car (a red mustang/horse, XD XD XD) and is surprised from behind by dean and sam! he laughs and tells them they can't kill him with ruby's knife, come on, but that's not what they're really after, sucker!
Sam cuts off the finger that held the magic ring!
The ring falls to the ground, and War and his mustang and the spell is gone.
The ex-military guy stops and understanding dawns on him, just like to the kid that shot the father...
Dean and Sam sit in a bench park table. Talking. Sam urges dean to hear what he has to say.
Sam has realized, that it's not just dean that doesn't trust him, it's himself. Sam confesses to the moment he had in the market, and comes to the conclusion that he can't hunt in the state he's in, he's no help to anyone, especially dean.
Who in turn cannot deny the truth of it all.
So, sam gives his good byes... take care of yourself...
You too, says dean, as he watches his brother walk away.
*tears*
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only the first chapter, the first chapter alone and...
I already adore this one!!!
That was sooooo hilarious, hot and sexy and wild and furious and sexy and hot and~ did I mention hot?
XD XD XD
Ok. I'll edit this post after I finish reading the book, in the meantime... suri, don't spoil me, not after I edit the post, onegaishimasu, XD.
(I mean: "Mercy kicked a dry branch out of her way and glared. “Stupid stick.” Of course, it wasn’t the
defenseless stick she was mad at..." It's just a genius way to begin mercy's book ♥♥ LOL!)
Edit:
Scratch whatever I said about not having a favorite couple before. Mercy and Riley friking rule. Period.
Book 8, the author pretty much was keeping to the same pattern by now, it was all very entertaining but it was getting kind of predictable, then here comes mercy, only leopard sentinel in her pack and BAM! it all changed!
Right out of the bat you just now surprise after surprise will come.
Because her relationship with wolf lieutenant riley is explosive to say the least! I mean, a naughty cat and a staid wolf? friction is bound to appear every second, the best kind of friction XD.
Mercy surprised me with how funny she is. She's wild and so secure in her own skin, her family was greatly depicted, she was cemented in her place in life, and that's where the dramatic tension came from, it's not about a psy (or human) giving in to the changelings, it's about a very independent strong woman wanting to find a mate that won't stifle her spirit.
And about a stick-in-the-mud wolf that reeeeeeally needed to learn how to let go and enjoy life.
I loved all the family comings and goings, the sibling relationships were so funny and true.
The overall plot went about smoothly, with the weird psy terrorist attempts, the expected council shadowy maneuvering (seriously, I can't wait till we learn what that kaleb guy is really on about, other than world domination that is XD), the human alliance drama (what a twist in the end with the chairman and tatiana!) with bowen determinations, the new changelings (the birds, the previously not mentioned packs), the mysterious x-psy (and sienna's possible connection with them), the hawke love triangle XD, the unexpected gift nikita gave sascha, and...
OMG...
Mr. alpha and Mrs. alpha are gonna be new parents!!!!!!!!!!!! UWA!!! so cute!! I can't wait till the baby pops out XD
But most of all, I LOVED the sex. ROTFL.
Just for my own amusement (^ w ^).
From tokyograph:

She does look really cute with glasses ♥
I swear they're addictive, better than what's on tv right now, that's for sure.
Thanks to my dear niece for starting me on this XD
Anyway, I don't know, aside from certain sitcoms and supernatural, I get so bored with current tv shows... maybe I've become too jaded, a sign of old age or something XD.
So, that's what books are for, have always been, and will continue to be I guess.
Nothing better than cozying up with a good book and getting lost in a good story.
Even if it's "romance novels" XD.
Not high on the literature structure of praise, but damn entertaining. I like that they mix sex with the story unapologetically, well, I don't think I would have started reading them if it wasn't for the promise of sex scenes though XD.
Anyway, having been directed to check out Nalini Singh's psy-changeling series, I find them adorable.
In the future the world is divided into 3 races, the humans, the changeling (half animal half human) and the psy, a race that fully relies on psychic ability. Having experienced the dangerous increase over time of brutality and violence, the psy decided that the only way to control the imminent demised of the race was to stop the feelings of rage and anger and all that drives people to kill, only to find they only could do that if they eliminated all emotion.
So the psy became living being that did not feel. Anything.
Was that a good idea?, hell no.
Anyway, that's the world where the books dwell. Where the romance sexy stories begin.
I'm not a fan of sci-fi, but this series rocks.
Check it out if you can.
PS: suri, I read the deleted scenes....... they are AWESOME. sascha darling's addiction to chocolate, faith teasing about seeing lots of choco-exercise in the future, the whole shower thing, the guys always eavesdropping on the girls' conversations and the cubs nibbling on brenna's ankles. All great.
The new season began last night on Latinamerica, and since I can't download (for the moment) I watched the premiere like all the rest of fans LOL, on TV (the power was out, but came back an hour before the premiere, oh yeah!).
A little "the road so far" re-cap to remember where we left off with... ACDC's Thunderstruck. Rocking, true SPN-style, god I missed it.
The devil's coming, hard white light blinding, deafening high-pitched noise, the boys tumble to the floor in pain~
Cut to a cartoon satan asking yosemite sam what's his name? a looney toons episode being shown on an airplane? they're spirited away on an airplane flying over the convent just as the devil's light hits town like a bomb!
ROTFLMAO.
All that waiting to see how they were going to depict "the devil", it's hilarious and genius in that special Demons R'Us sort of way.
Emergency landing later, the boys drive to Chuck's lair, which is a mess, broken things all over the place covered in blood, slowly they move around, hear a sound, and suddenly chuck hits sammy with what I think was a lamp or something XD.
Chuck's pretty battered up but pretty much o.k., shocked though, because as he describes it, cass blew up like a meat balloon right in front of him. I would have been all NOOOooooooOOOooooo if misha's name hadn't appeared in the beginning as regular cast XD.
Then they come, damned bully angels to take dean away, and bless him, he spits out to them to take it where the sun don't shine (yeah! you go dean!), before they can do their angel magic on them, dean casts them out with cass's spell, for the time being.
A girl writes on her computer. Fanfiction. Supernatural fanfiction. Make that dean/sam smut fanfiction.
I'm cracking up with laughter.
Chuck connects with her via net-chat. She freaks out because... she's his #1 fan.
He says he knows and that's why he asks for her help in giving the boys a message, she responds like a normal human being arguing that she might be the biggest fan ever but she knows how to tell fantasy from reality, chucks says "it's all real", she screams "I knew it!"
Seriously, I think this might be the only show I've watched that gives SO MUCH fanservice, ever.
She visits the "real" brothers at the hotel room they were in, she almost has one staring at the "real" face of the "real" sam right in front of her (o.k. I'll cut it out with the "real"s XD), groping him she turns inside to see dean and she gets disappointed because he's not how she imagined (while sammy did fulfill her fantasies, obviously).
And I'm again laughing my ass off.
Anyway, the message was a vision chuck had, that to defeat lucy they have to get archangel michael's sword, and he gives a weird-ass location they have to figure out. A castle on a hill surrounded by 42 dogs.
Bobby joins the boys at the hotel, come to help, and when they start to hit the books (Oh! while looking at a painting of michael deans points out "he looks like cate blanchet" XD XD XD XD) sammy's remorse comes out and he tells bobby what happened, that he's responsible for bringing on the apocalypse, bobby fumes with anger and tells him that when they finish fixing everything he better loose bobby's number... cut out my heart why don't you... Sam goes out feeling horrible because let's face it, bobby is more like a father to him than daddy winchester ever was.
Dean and bobby are alone, and while talking about sam (and "dad") dean remembers something, john's storage info, "castle" storage, located on 42 rover hill. Ha. Could it be that daddy winchester had michael's sword all along? bobby says "It's good enough for me" and punches the living daylights out of dean.
Uwa! Bobby's possessed!
Former demon meg and company crash the hotel ready to pound dean, and make bobby kill him while they're at it, and just as possessed bobby is about to stab dean he wakes up and stabs himself! dean strikes, demons fall, sammy comes back, fights too, meg runs away with the sword info, and they boys rush to the hospital with a deadly wounded free bobby in need of assistance.
BUt they can't stick around because they have to get to the sword before the demons do!
When they get there...
There's bodies all over the floor, dead bodies of course. What the hell happened? bully angels happened.
Zacariah and co. are there again, to force dean into submission. He tells dean he will cooperate, he will go with the plan, because he's archangel michael's vessel and they need their captain to make the plan work (there was no actual sword, dean is the sword).
Dean again repeats himself telling them off because he's figured out an angel needs the vessel to agree to be possessed in order to do so, No means No asshole! but Zacariah is through playing around, he breaks sam's leg, deans says no, he makes bobby a cripple from a distance, dean says no, he gives dean level 4 cancer, dean spits out blood in pain and says no, he takes out sam's lungs, deans says no.
Suddenly white light floods the place: it's Cass!!!! he takes out the bodyguard angels while zacariah shits his pants.
"Weren't you dead"? he asks, cass says yes, then how?... you figure it out you idiotic angel, how did the brothers end up on that plane? how is he alive? zacariah can't believe (well, that was his major problem in the first place), cass tells him he better be afraid. Uwa!!!!
Zacariah leaves after making the boys o.k. again, cass brands them with a special mark to make then invisible for all angels (fallen or otherwise), carved inside their ribs might I add, and when dean and sam wonder the same thing zacariah asked cass disappears, but not before warning that lucy's circling his own vessel.
Meanwhile, we go back to a man that has been haunted all along the episode, he's miserable, alone, he's been having horrible nightmares with blood, a woman, a baby... he's putting baby stuff inside boxes, and hears the baby crying.
He wonders if he's going crazy with grief... and while sleeping at night the ghost of his dead wife comes to him.
She says that it's time and that he's special, he realizes it's not sarah (his wife), she says her name is lucifer, he retorts sarcastically: "right, satan, well, do me a favor and remind me never to drink before going to sleep again", which I found very funny.
Lucy then begins to sweet-talk him into thinking about his loss, his wife and baby killed by a murderer, his situation is the same as his, he's not evil, just misunderstood, because all he ever did was "love God too much" and for that he was punished, all he wants is to confront God (to make Him see that He can't forsake his own creations) and a human vessel, which is the man, but he needs to say yes.
"How do I know you're not lying?" the man asks, lucy says he doesn't lie, because he doesn't need to.
"Can you bring back my family"? the mas asks, lucy says, no he can't, but he can bring something else.
"What?" the man asks, "justice" lucy says.
So he agrees.
Back at the hospital, bobby finds out he won't walk again (damned zacariah didn't fix him, the bastard), and dean tells his spur-of-the-moment plan to get rid of the demons, and the angels, the whole lot of them, if they want a war then they better find their own planet to screw around with, since this one belongs to the humans. Bobby asks how are they gonna achieve that, and dean just shrugs, he doesn't know, but he does know this, bobby and them will get through this, they all have to.
As they start to walk out the room bobby tells sammy that what he said back at the hotel... was the demon talking, it wasn't him, he'd never leave sam alone. Sammy nods with relief, and while they close-up on dean we see he's not happy.
Hospital parking lot, sam tells dean maybe they should look for the colt, to kill satan and all that, and dean blurts out his belief that that won't help at all. "But your plan, what you said back there?..." asks sam, dean says it was all bullshit to make bobby feel better, because he's not feeling all peachy himself.
He's having a hard time with all this.
Forgiving and forgetting.
Because his own brother chose a demon over him, thus bringing on the apocalypse.
Because sam was the only person he ever fully trusted.
And he betrayed him.
Dean doesn't know if he'll ever be able to get pass that.
And sam is heart-broken.
*tears up*
Trust SPN to deliver. Great episode.
I hope the season goes on just like this, surprises, fun, bro-angst, and I really hope that plan dean had to kick everyone's asses comes true.
on Notice.
